Holly Lodge is a charming, spacious Victorian-style home with 2 double bedrooms, with a drive off a quiet private road. A quiet residential setting on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales, within easy reach of cafés, restaurants and local shops.
Saltaire village (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Leeds/Liverpool canal and train station (with direct trains to Leeds and Skipton) are all just 10 minutes’ walk away. [Both bedrooms can be doubles or twin beds]
The space
The home consists of the entire ground floor of this Victorian-style property. It has its own front door entrance and private gated drive. The rooms are spacious with majestic high ceilings. Full fibre WIFI throughout and working spaces for laptops. There is a large porch that can be used to securely store bikes if you are cycling along the nearby Leeds/Liverpool canal. The large living room has a big comfy leather sofa, large smart TV with Freeview/FreeSat and apps such as iPlayer, Netflix, Amazon, Disney+
Bedroom 1 can be set up with either a Super-king double bed or as two single beds, plus a sofa-bed
Bedroom 2 can be set up with either a Super-king double bed or as two single beds.
The hallway leads to a modern bathroom which includes a rainfall shower.
A separate kitchen/diner has an integrated fridge, fan oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, dining table, benches and chairs.
The patio garden is perfect for barbecues and summer meals with rattan garden table and chairs, umbrella and a BBQ.
Guest access
Holly Lodge is ideally located for holidays in the Yorkshire Dales. It’s just a short drive to many hikes or travel by train (the station is a 10-minute walk) to Skipton and the Dales. It’s also only 16 minutes by train to Leeds and Bradford.
Guests will have full access to Holly Lodge, located just off the main Bingley Road on a quiet private dead-end un-made road. You have a private drive with parking for 2 cars.
The residents of the upstairs property access their front door along the side path of the property. Their parking is to the rear of the property on a separate private driveway. There is a security camera which is the front doorbell camera of the upstairs property.
