Changing from singles to a double

  1. Bedside tables – move out of the way while putting beds together.
  2. Take the single mattress protectors off (If possible, remove both protectors at the same time, then fold them. This makes it easier to put them back on next time). **In bedroom 2, put them in the blanket box. For bedroom 1, put them upstairs in Rose Lodge.
  3. Connect the beds – Put beds together and attach metal clips first at headboard end then the foot, zip mattresses together.
  4. Put mattress protectors on (Bed 2: found in the grey box – Bed 1: upstairs in Rose Lodge)
    • Start with the thin mattress protector (it just lies on top of the mattress)
    • Next, the mattress topper (lines horizontal to the headboard)
    • Finally, the quilted mattress protector.
  5. Now put on the bedding

Mattress Protectors

  1. Start with the thin mattress protector (it just lies on top of the mattress)
  2. Next, the mattress topper (lines horizontal to the headboard)
  3. Finally, the quilted mattress protector.

Here is Bedroom 2 as a double

Changing from double to singles

  1. Bedside tables – move them out of the way while separating the beds.
  2. Mattress protectors – There are 3 double ones – quilted, mattress topper and a thin one. Take them off and fold them separately.  Put them in the grey blanket box (or in the white box in the porch if you’re in bedroom 1)
  3. Separate the beds – unzip the mattresses and unclip the silver bars at the head and foot of the bed. Move the beds apart and put the bedside tables between them (be careful with the lamp leads, it’s a tight fit over the headboards)
  4. Mattress protectors. They should be together, but if not, put the quilted one on top of the thinner one (see photo). They are kept in the bottom drawer in bedroom 2 (or in the white box in the porch if you’re in bedroom 1)
  5. Now put on the bedding
